haha aww i missed this site! :) Thanks you guys! @Life is a photo Thanks! :) I just got a new camera a Canon Rebel T3i haha i love it so much. @countrygirl 4ever shah thank you! :) No its not im keeping it open! :D @pancake dancer ill be posting all my photos on this account from now on :) HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows you to shoot photos that look more like the human eye sees them with a lot more detail in the highlights and shadows areas which would otherwise be lost to contrast. and i will! :)

Jovial, so did I :) I love this picture, the reflections on the sand and water are beautiful. And the sky is AMAZING! :) I do have one suggestion, though, make sure the horizon is straight when you are taking the photo. This is still an awesome pic :) Favourite! Oh, and could you please check out some of my photos? I would really appreciate it :)

@photoking2, @pancakedancer, Does your camera have a way of lowering and raising the exposure? Even phone cameras can. Basically, take a photo on a tripod, then take a photo from the same exact place with a lower (darker) exposure, and one with a higher (brighter and washed out) exposure. Then stitch them together in a free HDR software program. If you have an ocean-sky-rocks photo, maybe you will see the dark shadowy rock have more detail, and see your sky and ocean colorful and bright!

You're definitely a favorite on this site, Malia. Glad you're still posting! And this photo....it takes my breath away. Normally I feel like HDR gives photos an over-edited look, but it worked really, really well with this shot. Beautiful work.
