What made the background look like a blurry rainbow? The colors! :O I have a butterfly photo of a monarch, which is pretty, but this butterfly is more beautiful. Do you know what kind it is? :D

thanks! and @babystruck, it was at a botanical garden with a pond, bright red chairs, green bushes, and blue sky. i don't know what type it is, i was too busy to check!

this is fantastic. the COLORS and the exposure and the focus are completely perfect. the composition's kind of boring, but the subject and COLORS more than make up for it. really, really nice job. :)

thank y'all again! @pointless/pics i agree, contrary to popular demand i do not find butterflies too interesting to look at. the colors did make up for it in this shot, i'm very happy. (:
